A good chance that the boys and girls teams will be playing in the state championship. I wish they still had the semifinals there too, but unfortunately they dont.

From a travel standpoint, it is closer for me to have it in Richmond, but from a basketball standpoint, Charlottesville would be a great fit. I used to enjoy it in Lynchburg too.

I saw bird Early this year and they are a good 5A team. I actually didn't think they were extremely good though. While I agree Surry has proven to be the team to beat in the EAST. I would be careful not to overlook Riverheads. They will be a hard out for sure.
