After all these years --- VHSL and the Regions themselves still can't publish anything that i can find.
Trying to find any regional points for basketball is near impossible.....

Agree. We are down to 3 weeks left and teams are lining up their seeding. Being a Shenandoah Valley guy I keep up with 3C, 2B and 1B mostly. I have never seen 3C points from anyone other than a person who has talked to a AD or coach. AD at Strasburg usually does 2B but haven't seen anything yet. A friend recently turned me on to a website for 1B. https://class1regionbstandings.weebly.com/
I was aware of the 1-B site and have consulted it frequently over the years. But over the weekend I too tried to locate similar information for other regions and it is not to be found. Patrick Hite from the News Leader generally keeps a good handle on things, so maybe he will come through soon with the information for the other regions.
I used to post high school basketball scores on a regular basis here, but the past year or so, it's VERY hard to find scores for various reasons.
Add to that the weather = postponements/cancellations
Football season was much easier to keep track of scores, since it was only 10 or 11 games to a season.

Correction - Gretna won last night but it was put wrong on Maxpreps. Hawks are now 8-9 and have jumped Glenvar to move into 4th place with 56 points (3.294).

I have no clue what 2D looks like aside from, I’m assuming, Gate City, Graham, Virginia High, Lebanon, Wise Central and Union are 1-6.
What matters there is I think seeding. Whoever you think is more dangerous from the M7 or SWD, getting the respective two seed and avoiding the top team til the end could prove the difference. I truly believe any team 1-6 can win the region and no one bats an eye.
