VISAA Semi-final Matchups
Top seed Williamsburg Christian Academy kicks things off at noon when they face newcomer Virginia Academy in the D3 semi-finals. The Eagles feature Old Dominion commit Xavier Green and D1 prospect Cle'von Greene. Virginia Academy is making their first ever VISAA tournament and big man Ejike Obinna gives them a chance. The other D3 semi-final will have two teams who are very familiar with each other in State tournament play. Amelia Academy will meet Christ Chapel with tipoff scheduled for 1:45pm. Amelia Academy features a balanced attack led by point guard Korey Turner while Domenick Bailey heads a strong Christ Chapel team.

The D2 semi-finals has a VIC flavor with 3 of the 4 teams coming from that conference. At 3:30 pm, #1 seed Blue Ridge Central Virginia flavor will meet Carlisle in a matchup of the VIC championship game played last week. Following that game, #2 seed St Anne's-Belfield will meet #7 seed Virginia Episcopal at 5:15 pm. The game showcases Duke commit Javin Delaurier against Kentucky McDonald's All-American Satcha Killeya-Jones. STAB also has several D1 players in UVA baseball commit Jalen Harrison and D1 football commit Kareem Johnson who is headed to William & Mary. VES counters with Pittsburgh basketball commit Justice Kithcart.

St Anne's-Belfield vs Virginia Episcopal 5:15PM
The D1 semi-finals will feature four teams traveling down from Northern Virginia. Top seed Episcopal had a scare against defending champs Cape Henry but they survived to face IAC rival St Stephens-St Agnes who upset St Christopher's on Wednesday. Episcopal has a great backcourt with junior George Mawanda-Kalema and senior Nick Reed who will play for the University of Rochester.The game is scheduled for 7 pm. Two WCAC teams meet in the nightcap as Paul VI will meet Bishop O Connell at 8:45PM. Several D1 prospects will be on display with Paul VI's VJ King, a Louisville commit, the headliner. Teammate Corey Manigault is headed to Pittsburgh. Bishop O Connell is led by Rice commit Ako Adams.
