I'm not one of the math guys who figure it all up but I believe if they win this week then they will be the top seed. Don't quote me on that though. I'm sure others could give you a for certain answer

Yes there is a chance. But there is also a chance for three teams to win and get the top seed. W&L, Essex and Altavista have two things to do on Friday. The first is win, the second is hope people they've beat win. It's going to come down to rider points. All three of them can win an be 1/2/3 seeds depending on other games. There is also a chance for tie(s). In that case, Altavista holds the advantage over the other two and Essex would beat W&L.
