Rappahannock has home Region Semis in Boys Soccer, Softball, and Baseball.

Northumberland hosts in Girls Soccer and Baseball.

While I agree that Region A is very solid, let's not forget last season when the same talk was rampant (by myself included) and we ended up with an West final. My point is, that I think 2 A teams will be in the final 4...but I wouldn't guarantee a final slot to an East school...or a West school for that matter. Things just happen in odd fashion on the bigger stage.

Point well taken and respected.

I am going to take a wild guess that the all west final was Galax v Radford.

Radford had basically a free pass to states held at Radford for I believe like 19 of 20 years or close to it.. Radford is in 2A now. Using local refs for a state game will not matter now....

Should be a good one.

Northumberland Baseball advances to states!!!! 2-1 win over Essex at NHS!

Congrats to NHS Baseball! Northumberland will host Region Title game.

Rappahannock Softball won tonight 6-0 over Northumberland to advance to states.

NHS ends season at 17-4. Great year!
