After the release of the All-State teams, wanted to put together my personal preseason Top 5 for next season in Class 3. I only feel solid about the top 5 given the returners, anyone have any insights to the rest of the squads that should be good next year?

Varina (22-4) vs E.C. Glass (25-2)...who you got and why?

I was reading an old post about what hooked us on HS football. It got me to thinking about books that I had read that captured some of those feelings. John Grisham is a tremendous author that writes mostly legal thrillers, but he's written several good sports books. Bleachers was my favorite sports book that he wrote about HS football. Playing for Pizza Is another good one about playing professional football in Europe. Calico Joe is a book about baseball that I really enjoyed. He has a newer book about basketball that I haven't read yet, but I want to check out called Sooley.

Have you guys read any good sports books?

This Just In - Willie Gause is stepping down as Head Basketball Coach of the Kecoughtan Warriors, he tells our @hatfieldsports.
Gause went 107-55 overall in eight years (seven seasons) at the helm.

Rock Ridge is excited to announce the hiring of our new head football coach - Alex Urquhart!
Coach will be meeting w/ students in person after Spring Break. In the meantime, Mr. McNanley will be working w/ Coach to conduct off-season training starting Tues 3/21/23 @ 8 a.m

This site is for private schools but I dont think they have 8 man football https://visaa.org/
