Good Morning football fans!

I am here live from the press box at Ballard Stadium at ODU for today's title clash between the 2019 Class 5 Champion Commodores of Maury and the 4-time Class 5 Champion Springers of Highland Springs.

Kick-off slated for about an hour from now.

Fellas it's with a broken heart that due to real life issues I will not be able to attend the State Championship game today. I know full well that doesn't matter to GW or RH or anyone else going to the game but we've gotten some news that has to come first. Real life has hit and my family comes before anything. I was looking forward to seeing a few of the RH fans I met a few years back they are great guys and they know their football.

I'm not posting this for sympathy or any other reason. Only to say good luck to MY MAROONS and safe travels to everyone heading to Salem today. Hopefully I'll be able to get NFHS to stream cleanly lol.

The Big Red Machine rolls on to a 7th straight State championship appearance. This time against MY MAROONS hopefully we can give a good showing. And hopefully we get a good clean game with no injuries or bs.

Hi All.

It's been awhile since I've attended state championship games and I have decided for now to head down to Salem tomorrow to watch the Class 1 and 2 finals.

Do I need to buy tickets for both games? Or will a ticket to the first game allow for re-entry due to the amount of time in between games? Since this is the VHSL, I'm not anticipating anything easy.

I remember going to title games at Liberty some years back and I could buy one ticket for both games and not have to worry about anything. Just looking for clarification.

In ten games, the Penn State recruit has rushed for 1425 yards and 24 touchdowns to go with 250 receiving yards, 53 tackles, 10 stops for loss, seven sacks, 15 quarterback pressures, three forced fumbles and two pass breakups.

Rojas led Fairfax to a perfect 10-0 regular season, marking their best since 1999. His Coach, Trey Taylor, was chosen as Patriot District Coach of the Year.
