Cadets dominate at Bobby Ross Stadium season opener...

Coach Lilly's Cadets dominated in every facet this afternoon against the Collegiate Cougars to once again win the River Rd. Rivalry in dominating fashion. This was the first game at Bobby Ross stadium for the 2015 campaign and the Cadets didn't disappoint. Justin Smith got the high powered Cadet offense going as he caught a 26 yard touchdown pass from Jake Waldrop for the first score of the game. 4 minutes later it was the Duke to Vandy connection for the second time this year as Bracey found Tennyson on a 55 yard pass and catch for another Cadet touchdown. The Cougars clawed back and got on the board in the 2nd quarter with a touchdown of their own and only trail the Cadets 14-7 at the half.

However, the 2nd half was all Cadets as they outscored the Cougars 27-7 and cruised for the 42-14 victory to move to 3-0 on the season and scoring 141 points in their first three games. Scoring for the Cadets in the second half were Bracey, Smith for the second time, Ngendakuriyo on a pick 6, and Flinn who took a 63 yard punt return to the house for the final score of the game. The Cadet defense continued to impress as they held the Cougars to 36 rush yards for the entire game to the Cadets 256.

The Cadets have a bye week next week before they have a solid stretch of games starting with a date with rival St. Christopher's at their place on October 3rd. Great job and keep it up Cadets!
