Didn't look like he got in on the left to me but I'm on other side. He definately didn't get in on the right. Had a perfect view and the ball hit the half yd line. Great game though. We gotta stop those big plays.
35-20 Richlands final. Good game congrats to you guys. Coaching made the difference in this game athletes for athletes we were neck and elbow but Coach Mance made adjustments at halftime and ours panicked. Good luck next week.
Much respect for your team BCKnights ! They really came to play ! Ragland and the QB ( sorry gray hair syndrome effecting me and I can't recall his name ) but man they run hard and your line did a really good job of Blocking especially in the 1st half.
I think you guys wore down a bit in the 2nd half also.
We are constantly running fresh guys in and out and really helps to keep our guys rested.

Thanks buddy much respect to you guys. I met some very good people tonight. Nobody walks by without talking to you, I mean young old don't matter everybody was really nice. Talked to a lot of people from surrounding counties that really wanna see you guys lose lol! Enjoyed every minute beautiful place beautiful people .
.....lol....doesn't surprise me that they want to see us lose....lol, but hey, it is what it is.
Really appreciate the compliment and glad everyone was nice to you, we do have loud and FANatical fans, but they are good people and I am proud to say I'm from Richlands........even if the surrounding towns want to see us get beat......lol

This was one of those nights when a few of our fans really got on my nerves. It would be nice if some of those that are ignorant regarding the rules would just keep their mouths shut.
It would change. Whatever player was pulling on any given play, he would be a foot behind the others. Buddy sitting next to me noticed it all night.
It was a fun very entertaining game coulve went both ways, our O coordinator pinicked and schematically took Ragland out of the game in the second half. We matched up better than what I thought we would. You guys have a great coaching staff and my buddy John Luke Asbury is everything I thought he was, got to shake his hand and let know his future is very bright. Again congrats to you guys for showing the heart of champions no excuses on our behalf the game was anybody's game and you took it.
I was in the stands but I thought he PAT was good as well, however, it seems I always find myself saying one is good or not good and the refs tend to say something else, so I give up
He didn't break the goal line. It was a good stand by the defense after giving them 2 first downs inside the 10 with penalties. The extra point looked good, but they all do from the stands. Can't believe they let Buckingham by with all that after-the-play activity. Then when a Richlands player retaliated they call it on them. But overall I think the refs did a good job.
I can't say one way or the other about the PAT because of the angle I had from the stands, but I had an uncle that was standing down on the track on the goal line during that goal line stand and he is a call it like he see's it type of man, he don't care if it is for Richlands or against he tells it like it is, I ask him after the game if he ( Ragland ) broke the plane and he said it was very close, but he didn't think he did, he said it was close though.
I also felt we won the game when your coach started playing our game by throwing the ball instead of staying with the run. We had made some nice adjustments in the 2nd half ( which Mance and his staff are known for ) and slowed the running game, but I still felt you guys should have stayed with what got you the lead. For one thing it eats up clock and keeps the ball out of our offence's hand.
I think it's the type of game that can help prepare us for future games and helps us improve.

Let me say congrats to Richlands on a hard fought win. I read all week about how great the Richlands fans were and I was reluctant to believe it because of how we were treated last year at Gate City. But I was wrong. Everyone for the most part was very complimentary of our team. I was out on the field after the game and lots of Richlands fans were telling our guys good game. The one police officer told Michael Mabry what a great player he was. And praised his efforts. I really admired that. I will be in Appomattox next week to see a great football game.
