The Smith kid is pretty good. He was surrounded by seniors in the Potomac Falls lineup, but yet his coach batted him in the three-hole. I'm sure we're going to hear a lot about this guy the next few years.

Good year for freshmen third basemen within Region II. Burgreen, from Millbrook, also was a first-teamer in the NWD.
