Congrats Bruin athletes and coaches Part 2

Congratulations once again. The Bruin juggernaut rolls on. That’s 85 state championships now in the “modern era”, which started with the reorganization into AAA / AA / A in the fall of 1970. I believe that is far and away number one among all VHSL members; I hope to have more complete information on that before football season starts.
How bout Auburn?! They’ve had quite the operation going on up there in Riner the past several years, too. Six more state titles this past school year. And in 2A and 3A - Maggie Walker and Western Albemarle with NINE and eight state championships, respectively, in 2018-2019 alone. “Impressive” doesn’t begin to do those programs justice.
Interesting that all six WF cup winners were repeat winners from the previous year. Congrats to all of them!
