Not sure how this game didn't make the various game of the week list by the top posters on VaPreps? This is very likely for the Beach District Title this year! Both teams head into this game undefeated & the victor should be expected to remain that way into the playoffs.

Green Run has the talent at multiple positions to challenge Maury for who'll play @ ODU in December. Ocean Lakes has the tradition and still has the talent to make a deep playoff run in Reg A of Class 6.

I'd have to give Green Run the edge here after handily beating a depleted Salem (VB) team. But Ocean Lakes will make them play every down for 4 quarters to get the victory... I expect a 1 score difference by the Stallions.

This is a very interesting match up in my opinion mainly to see is GR ready for next step come playoff time and just to see can OL be a regional contender in class6. But definitely will be tuned in though.

I watched a portion of this game on NFHS Network & Green seemed have the toughness at defense i haven't seen from them in the past.. Their offensive talent did their thing vs Ocean Lakes.. Yep there ready for a deep play-off run..
