L2 South Lakes I tried to warn that Tilly could possible pull it off, and they almost did. It was a SLakes squeaker.

Predictions for Tuesday:

This round always seems to bring an upset or two every year...3 of the 4 games should be well contested.

Quarters:

Top Half
L1 Madison
N2 Edison Without Kushuta, it will take another big effort from Madison to upset Edison. Expect a hot, close one, though.

C1 Centreville This game is a toss up for me. But I'm taking the home team as C'Ville is a tough place to play. Upset alert, though.
P2 West Springfield

Bottom Half

P1 TC Williams Sorry to say that this is my upset special, and that's all I have to say on the subject. I have my reasons.
C2 Oakton

N1 Mount Vernon Simply put, MV. This is a remix of yesterday's LB game pretty much. Likely the only runaway this round.

We all know that it would be a mortal sin for a Coyer to go against Oakton. Nothing wrong with being a homer.

Actually, I knew Manner was out so I picked TCW.

I knew there would be an upset or two because there always is. I didn't see the MV meltdown coming though.

People don't realize how hard it is to win every year. You can't just suit up in the playoffs and expect to win. It takes a daily focus and you have to bring your game every night or you can get bit.

Schools like Princess Anne, Lake Taylor, Oakton, W Springfield have special mojo/expectation that starts with their coaches.
