So far in this millennium, 12 different schools have won state title in Class 2 (previous known as Class A-Division 2)

Appomattox County 5 times; Gretna 3 times; Gate City, Giles and Goochland twice each and 7 other teams once each: Essex, George Wythe, Glenvar, Graham, King William, Manassas Park and Washington & Lee.
