VHSL looks to increase baseball and softball

regular season from 20 games, to 30 games. 10 of the 30 games would have to be played on Saturday as part of a DH, according to proposed VHSL rules. I think this is good and I hope VHSL does it. Most states allow far more than 20 regular season games.

IMHO ... DH's need to be 7 inning games and not 5 innings. 5 inning games are useless.

They need to get the State Championship games back on the VHSL Network. I've missed them the last two seasons.

The VHSL backed off the proposal to extend the season to 30 games. I think they should allow schools to schedule ever how many games they want to. Some schools "do just enough to get by" while some schools set their standards high.
