Westfield's Duda ran for over 150 yards and five scores to lead WF to a 56-12 win over Chantilly. WF started the game with the ball and put together a 75 yard drive capped by a 17 yard Jenks run to jump out in front, 7-0 (Nicklas XP) with 6:10 to play in the first quarter. CH's first possession was a three and out, followed by a WF three and out, then another CH three and out. On the punt WF's Morin returned the kick 30 yards to midfield, followed shortly by WF's Duda scoring on a 25 yard run to extend the lead to 14-0 (Nicklas XP) on the first play of the second quarter. CH then churned out an 82 yard drive and scored on 47 yard flea flicker from Boucher to DiLandro to cut the lead to 14-6 (Miller XP missed) with 7:40 to go in the second quarter. WF's Coffield then returned the KO 67 yards to the CH 28 yard line and WF's Duda ran it in from 8 yards out to push the lead back to 21-6 (Nicklas XP) with 6:10 remaining in the half. On CH's next possession Mantri was intercepted by WF's Morin at the CH 40 yard line and the ball was returned 26 yards to the CH 14 yard line. Two plays later WF'S Duda scored again, from 3 yards out, and the lead extended to 28-6 (Nicklas XP) with 4:06 remaining in the half. CH started their next drive at their 25 yard line and reached midfield before Mantri fumbled on the 50 yard line. WF's Lucas scooped up the fumble and returned it to the CH 37 yard line to give WF a short field. WF took advantage, scoring on the first play on a Jenks to Murphy 37 yard pass to extend the lead to 35-6 (Nicklas XP) with less than two minutes to the half. CH then drove 65 yards to get inside the WF red zone, the big play being a 33 yard run by CH's Chow to the WF 18 yard line, before settling for a 35 yard FG from Wienke to cut the lead to 35-9 at the half.
CH received the second half KO at their 42 yard line after a 41 yard return by Jackson, but failed to move the ball and punted after three plays. WF's Coffield fielded the punt at WF's 30 yard line and returned the ball to the CH 47 yard line, but a penalty on CH advanced the ball to the 32 yard line. On the second play WF's Duda reached the end zone for his fourth score, this time a 24 yard run up the middle to extend the lead to 42-9 (Nicklas XP) with 9:12 to play in the third quarter. CH started their next drive at their own 31 yard line and reached the WF 34 yard line where they faced a 4th and 6. CH's Dilandro caught a 19 yard pass from Mantri and the CH drive stayed alive. Only able to gain three yards with the next set of downs, CH kicked a 29 yard FG (Wienke) to make it 42-12 with about 4 minutes remaining in the third quarter. WF took the KO at their 28 yard line and Duda exploded up the middle on the first play for a 72 yard score, his fifth of the game, and the lead was now 49-12 (Nicklas XP) with 3:52 left in the third quarter. CH's next drive was a three and out. WF's Miller then fumbled and CH recovered (I did not see who recovered the fumble) and CH was on the WF 38 yard line. Facing a 4th and 1 at the WF 29 yard line, the running play resulted in a four yard loss and WF took over. WF then drove into CH territory before failing to convert a 4th and 4 at the CH 38 yard line. CH took over, but just a few plays later a high snap resulted in a Mantri fumble that was kicked around before WF's Oakley scooped it up and returned the ball 50 yards for the final score, 56-12 (Wiemann XP).
