Westfield was clicking on both offense and defense and used time consuming drives in the second half to control the game and come away with a 30-7 win over the Generals.

WF started the game on their 19 yard line and moved 81 yards for the games first score, a 21 yard Duda run, to go up 7-0 (Nicklas XP) with 6:31 remaining in the first quarter. WL's first series ended in a punt that was returned 45 yards deep into WL territory, but a penalty wiped out the return and WF started their second drive on their own 28 yard line. WF wasted no time and went 72 yards, with Duda scoring again on a 2 yard run, and the WF lead was extended to 14-0 (Nicklas XP) with 42 seconds remaining in the first quarter. WL punted again on their next drive to give WF the ball on the WF 36 yard line. On the third play WF's Jenks fumbled and WL's Hughes returned the ball 39 yards to the WF 5 yard line. WL's Louis then ran it in from 4 yards out and the lead was cut to 14-7 after the Carrasquillo XP with 9:33 remaining in the half. WF immediately restored the lead when Duda returned the WL KO 93 yards for a score, pushing the lead back to 21-7 (Nicklas XP) with 9:19 remaining in the half. WL and WF then exchanged punts to give WL the ball on their own 35 yard line with about 30 seconds left in the half. On the first play WF's Morin intercepted WL's Bhowjani and returned the ball to the WL 20 yard line with one second on the clock. WF's Nicklas then kicked a 37 yard FG and the teams went into the locker rooms with WF leading 24-7.

WL received the ball to start the second half but soon faced a 4th and 1 at their own 44 yard line. A Duffy 2 yard run got a new set of downs but WL punted four plays later to give the ball back to WF on the WF 43 yard line. WF gained only six yards on three plays to face a 4th and 2, but Duda ran for 4 yards to get a first down. Four plays later WF faced another 4th down, 4th and 3 at the WL 38 yard line, but WF's Jenks got a 7 yard run to keep the drive alive. WF later scored on a one yard Jenks to Murphy pass on the first play of the fourth quarter to extend the lead to 30-7 (Nicklas XP wide). WL's next drive used two big pass plays to move to the WF four yard line when Bhowjani found Malatesta for 39 yards to the WF 34 yard line, followed on the next play by 30 yard pass to Nowinski. WL then tried two consecutive fades to Nowinski in the corner that fell incomplete, followed by another incomplete pass over the middle. Facing 4th and goal at the 4 yard line, the 4th down pass was flagged for DPI and WL had another chance to score from the WF two yard line. This time WL attempted a run and the WF defense stuffed it for a two yard loss. WF then methodically drove down the field consuming time, reaching inside the WL 30 yard line, before running out the clock.
