4a Playoff consistency Since Realignment

During lunch yesterday, I was thinking about playoff consistency, so I researched the teams who have made the 4a playoffs since the beginning of realignment in 2013. 11 Teams have made the playoffs each year since realignment. I have broken down the teams by 4a east and west. I have also included teams playoff records since realignment. Can’t really surmise anything from the information, but it was interesting to research. Some of the teams were moved from 3a and some teams include 4a west appearances. Teams in bold have made the playoffs this season. I apologize if I missed anyone. Please comment:

Very good list. Pretty good sample size. Mostly the regulars are playing well and the usual suspects are back at it again. Pretty even as far as which teams seem to have most success and West has slight edge in wins, East with more balance or parity in total wins by region. Maybe only outlier is LCA which just entered the VHSL Public League as of last year. Will be interesting to see what this looks like in two years after next realignment.

Nice research. It looks like 2016 wasn't kind to JF or Sherando, normally mainstays in the 4A playoffs.

Correct except Dominion (on list). Fleming is 0-1, but they I thought they were 5a now.
Will check and add them. Teams like Phoebus, norcom were not included, because they now play 3a.
