Personally, I think that private schools playing with public schools is a good thing. A lot of states actually are in that space. If your ultimate goal is to win a state championships then, yeah, maybe keep it at public schools only. If your goal is to play at the top level of competition and prepare you for the next level, let the private schools in. College teams - especially at the D1 level - are handpicked teams. A decade or so ago, Phoebus played Dematha as they wanted to play top talent. I think Hayfield played Good Counsel this year. The top public schools are actively seeking private schools for top competition. Why not make it happen more often in-state?

I don't know the addresses that individual students use but I know it's common practice for some students to use false addresses at most schools across America, even Amherst has benefited from that LOL. As I mentioned in my last post, it is not against VHSL rules for students to attend a school out of their zone. They just have to pay tuition and sit 1 year after the transfer.
This kid didn’t sit out a year

One player, no one gets as many as LCA

Very few high school kids get to play at the next level. Most do not have the physical skills. High school sports should not be only about preparing for the next level. Most play because they love the game not because it's going to get them to college. Let the kids have fun!

So let's let LCA have fun too!!

That's not what I said. I said that the only C5/C6 opponent that Dinwiddie has played is Maury. The original poster suggested that LCA schedule larger schools like Dinwiddie does. My reply was saying that Maury is the only larger school that Dinwiddie actually added to the schedule. I understand that they play C5/C6 teams in their district but they have no choice but to play them. No one is questioning Dinwiddie's strength of schedule sir LOL. You took the post completely out of context.
In that case, I apologize. But one correction. Maury is not the only larger school we scheduled. North Stafford is a C5 school.

Incidentally, we have Salem, C5 Granby, and C6 Highland Springs next season.
