Most likely they will all play each other. The Seminole District has 8 teams as well. They all play each other plus 3 OOD games.

More of a convenience from my understanding. Travel distances to similar size schools tend to be further in that part of the state so they schedule teams within a closer radius. For example, the Blue Ridge district is comprised of Class 3, 4, 5 and 6 teams due to travel distances.

With this addition is Tunstall the only school that wont be allowed to participate in a Christmas tournament because of now 14 conference games

If all teams decide to play a district schedule this year, it would be 14. However, this will be the only year for 14 district games. Patrick County is leaving after this season and joining the Three Rivers District.
