Altavista (0-2): Rustburg, Amelia.
- Rustburg is good and I haven't followed Amelia much but Altavista is looking an 0-3 start in the face

Appomattox (1-1): Heritage, Lord Botetourt
- Might be underdogs in both games remaining. Could start 1-3 then win out and still host the first couple rounds of the playoffs.

Chatham (1-1): Patrick County, Martinsville
- Will have a good game against Patrick County (lost to Patrick County 34-28 last season) and has to play a good Martinsville team. Likely 2-2? Not a winning record but also not a losing record starting Dogwood play.

Dan River (1-1): Bassett, Martinsville.
- Both opponents are good and may be favored. DR could play well and win both but could very easily lose both games and end up 1-3 starting Dogwood play.

Gretna (0-2): Magna Vista (Gretna plays Tunstall, their final OOD game, during district play).
- Gretna is already 0-2 and only has a game left against a good MV. At best 1-2 but may be 0-3 starting district play.

Nelson (0-2): Prince Edward, Cumberland.
- PE is playing well but Cumberland is not and should make for an interesting game against Nelson. Probably 1-3 but may start 0-4.

William Campbell (1-1): Buckingham, Lunenburg.
- Two really good teams they have to play. May start 1-3 but go on a run afterwards.

Based on what teams have done thus far and using Calpreps as a guide, we're looking at the Dogwood teams having these records starting district play:
Chatham 2-2
Gretna 1-2 (Tunstall later in the season and would be favored in that game according to Calpreps)
Appomattox 1-3
Dan River 1-3
Nelson 1-3
William Campbell 1-3
Altavista 0-4

Some of these have difficult schedules (looking at you Appomattox) and some teams are very young. Very strange to look at the Dogwood and see lots of losing records and Chatham at the top at .500. Chatham knew what they were doing in scheduling this way. We'll see how district play shakes out.
