Highland Springs comes back onto the field, one half is all that remains between them and a state title.

Springers just need to continue what they have done on defense but also need to be a bit more aggressive in second half. Stone Bridge and Highland Springs are even in a lot of categories and if Stone Bridge can quit the turnovers this becomes a tighter game.

Will be interesting to see the start of the second half to see what kind of adjustments either teams have made. This is still anyone's game.

Springers appear to be staying with the run game in the second half and Stone Bridge is having none of it. 3rd & 7

Jack Kosko tackles a scrambling Juwan Carter who was looking for an open receiver. A loss of 12 yards and they punt. Stone Bridge returns the ball past midfield but there is a flag on the 15 yard line.

Sutton sniffed out the play and tackled Ridley for a loss. After a minimal gain on second down a huge 3rd & 9 for both teams.

Dortch with a big play on third down to tackle Ridley as he was headed to the left. Stone Bridge will punt or is it a fake?

Springers sniff out the fake as well and the fake backfires on Stone Bridge. Now the Springers have the ball at their own 45. Stone Bridge defense back to work.

Wallace gets tackled for a loss by Jack Kosko who is having himself a nice day on defense. The Springers faced with 3rd & 10

Pass to K'Von Wallace and a stiff arm to Bulldog defender and just like that the Springers are in the endzone with a 55-yard touchdown. With 6:01 to go in the third quarter they now lead 21-7 with a two-point conversion from Dortch to Wallace!

Highland Springs fans felt the Springers recovered a fumbled return but it's Chase Ridley who comes up with it. Stone Bridge has ball at their own 29 with less than 6 to go in third quarter.

Down two scores but still a lot of time left in the game, will the Bulldogs go for it on fourth down at their own 35? The answer is yes as Chase Ridley carries the ball to the Springer 47! Huge play for Stone Bridge as they try to stay in this one.

Another pass to K'Von Wallace and the Springers are feeling it... but wait, there's a flag on the play that negates the touchdown. Holding against Highland Springs. Springer fans disagree with a chorus of boos.

Entering the fourth quarter the Springers lead 21-7 over Stone Bridge. Springer fans on their feet in support of the Black & Gold

Greg Dortch with a 66 yard touchdown! No flags, Springers go up 27-7 and appear to be on their way to a state title!

Stone Bridge honestly needs a score here to stay in this game. They would still be down two scores but every little bit helps.

Springers offense gets the ball back at midfield and the fans are on their feet. In less than 9 minutes this places is going to be the loudest it's been all day if this keeps up.

Flag on a DJ Anderson run pushes the Springers back. Springers might be in the lead but they have been penalized heavily today.

Juwan Carter with the keeper gets the first down and more before Stone Bridge brings him down. Stone Bridge side is quiet but the Springer side is loud and proud.

Juwan Carter almost tackled in the backfield but throws off the defender and gets the ball to the 5. 2nd & 12 for the Springers

A score seemed imminent for the Springers but the ball is fumbled and Stone Bridge comes up with it. 6:34 left in the game, it's not over yet, even if it does feel like it.

With 5:36 remaining the Springers have the ball at their own 37... Look for them to run the ball and eat up some clock as the team and the fans inch closer to a state title

Not only is Highland Springs eating up the clock but they are getting closer and closer to the endzone. 1st & 10 from the 25
