Based on a dream I had last night where I traveled back in time, I thought to myself this morning, how could I apply this to sports? So here it is...

If you could go back in time to another era of high school football in the state, what era would you like to go back and see and why?

I would like to revisit the 2000s since that's when I fell in love with high school football. Then I'd like to go to the 90s and see those great 757 teams like Hampton with Curry and Bethel with Iverson.

The 1980s, the 1990s, and the 2000s was the best football period. That’s 3 decades of very very good football. These kids are too cute now and don’t play with the same pride as the kids in the 3 decades mentioned. I’ll trade ages with you @BleedingNavy!!!

They didn't have time for games in the Bleeding Navy ages. They spent all their time rooting around under rocks for grubs and insects to eat, or running from their lives from predators like the saber tooth tiger.

I would like to see Ross play again, all 4 years, that kid was special, so poised for his age at the time, it would burn us up in Warren, but we all respected his game, a true warrior.

Mid 80's when I was at Courtland and we were a juggernaut in both the AA and AAA divisions.
